Queen delights hospice.

Her Majesty tours St John's Moggerhanger

Her Majesty brightened up a dark, rainy afternoon for patients, staff and volunteers at St John's Hopsice in Moggerhanger this afternoon (Friday)

The Queen, patron of St John's charity Sue Ryder Care, spent around an hour touring the hospice, which cares for people with cancer and other terminal conditions.

Pauline Panter, palliative care services manager, said: "She saw every patient and their relatives and spoke to everybody. She was very interested in them and also met a lot of staff.
