20th ThinPrep imaging system shipped to Pennsylvania hospital.

2004 JAN 13 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Cytyc Corporation (CYTC) announced that it has shipped the 20th ThinPrep Imaging System.

This milestone shipment went to the Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The company had initially projected 20 shipments by the end of 2003. Based on purchase orders received and manufacturing capacity, Cytyc now expects to ship 26 ThinPrep Imaging Systems by the end of the year, or a 30% increase over earlier estimates.
